The American Library Association recently dropped 2022’s report on the state of book bans and challenges throughout the country, and the information is DEVASTATING.

Extremists and radical politicians are banning and challenging books at unprecedented rates, and the stories they’re stealing away represent the values, diversity, history, and identities we know our kids need to learn about for an honest, well-rounded education.

We CAN’T let them win.

Fighting these bans takes all of us putting in work in our own communities, whether it’s borrowing a challenged title from your local library, speaking up at your kids’ school board meeting, or just picking up a book to read!
